Hallo,
wenn ich compiz starte kommt immer derselbe Fehler:

Google weiß zwar viel aber meist wurde nur

vergessen.
Zuerst dachte ich, es liegt an meiner xorg.conf da ja

kommt.
Deshalb hab ich sie neu erstellt (mithilfe von nvidia-settings):

Das brachte aber auch keinen Erfolg.

Fatal: No GLXFBConfig for default depth, this isn't going to work.

Würde mir eher die farbtiefe verdächtig vorkommen. Stell mal auf 16, nur aus test ob dann die meldung immer noch kommt.

Was mich irritiert ...

Fragen wir mal weiter ... welche Distri (SuSE?) und woher compiz ...

Also...
Opensuse 10.2 x86_64, nvidia-treiber per .run von nvidia.com installiert.
Compiz per rpm von http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_10.2/
installiert nach dem howtovon http://en.opensuse.org/Compiz-Fusion
Gut ich hab deine Links gelesen und bin dann auf diese seite
gestoßen, hab das alles wie beschrieben in der data.py geändert.
Jetzt kommt:

Setz mal in Deine Screen-Section noch

    Option      "AllowGLXwithComposite"         "true"

und poste dann mal das Xorg.0.log ...

Ich habe jetzt mal den beta-Treiber installiert (171.06), dies bringt aber auch nicht den gewünschten Effekt.

EDIT: Hab mir jetzt Opensuse 10.3 installiert....jetzt gehts...
