Grafikkonfiguration zerschossen (suse 10.2, ati xpress 200m)

hi!

ich habe ein gewaltiges problem. ich komme nicht mehr in die grafische oberfläche rein.

habe schon einige sachen ausprobiert wie z.b. treiber deinstallieren, neu installieren, sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx, sax2 -a usw.

ich komme maximal zur konfigurationsoberfläche. nach dem neustarten klappt's nicht.

zur ausgangssituation:

ich habe es einfach nicht hinbekommen (egal mit welchem howto auch immer) die 3d-unterstützung zu aktivieren.

also habe ich ein bisschen (zu viel!) rum gespielt. habe xorg deinstalliert und fglrx und ati-treiber und nun gewaltig den überblick verloren.

wollte xorg 7.0 drauf machen weil ich gelesen hatte, dass das 7.2 (rc2) den neuen ati treiber nicht mag bzw. umgekehrt.

nun ja... wenn ich mir über xorg -version die version anzeigen lasse habe ich xorg 7.1.999 oder so ähnlich drauf.

sorry, das ganze liest sich jetzt wahrs. ziemlich verwirrend.

welche infos braucht ihr? die xorg.conf sieht eig. ganz gut aus.

nun besteht noch das problem, dass meine linux kenntnisse beschränkt sind. ich weiß z.b. nicht, wie ich euch die dateiauszüge ins forum stellen soll. ich bin grad über windoof drin.

grep "EE" /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Fütter damit mal deine Konsole unter Linux, das liefert dir einen Auszug der Fehler die im Log stehen und poste sie hier.

Desweiteren wäre hilfreich die /etc/X11/xorg.conf

less /etc/X11/xorg.conf

welche infos braucht ihr? die xorg.conf sieht eig. ganz gut aus.

posten ist besser als beschreiben.

Ansonsten kann ich Dir leider nicht helfen, da ich (in bezug auf Linux) ein glücklicher Nvidia Besitzer bin.

Hast du XGL benutzt? Ich hatte auch ein Problem damit... vor Treiberänderung
hab ich dann XGL ausgemacht und brav an init 3 gedacht und dann ging es

xorg.conf kommt entw.gleich oder morgen mittag. mounten funktioniert endlich^^


ich hatte glx drauf und das habe ich gelöscht. aber trotzdem ging das ganze grafische noch. erst nachdem ich an dem xorg zeugs rum gespielt habe (über mich den kopf schüttel) ging's los.

edit:

mounten geht zwar aber wie kann ich die dateien nun unter windows öffnen? als was soll ich sie denn speichern, dass ich sie lesbar in windows habe?

Ok,

jetzt bin ich wieder in der grafischen Oberfläche drin. Weiß leider nicht mehr, was geholfen hat. Habe das gestern Abend kurz gemacht und dann nicht mehr ausprobiert. Habe nun auf alle Fälle den Radeon Treiber drin stehen in der sysinfo.

Werde nun noch mal den neuten ATI-Treiber installieren. Hoffe, ich habe eine grafische Oberfläche danach...

EDIT:

Treiber 8.36... installiert, sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx.... Oberfläche futsch.
Also Treiber deinstalliert, sax2 -r -m 0=radeon... Jetzt tut's inklusive Scrollen.

Endlich funktioniert es.

Nach zig Versuchen klappt meine grafische Oberfläche und ich hab sogar 3D - Support
