Hi zusammen,

ich habe auf meinem Notebook (HP Omnibook xt1500) Debian Etch installiert.

Soweit so GENIAL einfach...

Leider habe ich >1 Probleme... ;-)

Ich suche schon seit einer Woche nach der Vorgehensweise eine T Sinus111card im PCMCIA Slot laufen zu bekommen. Leider hab ich nicht viel anwendbares gefunden. Nachfolgend noch ein paar Informationen über das System:

Bist Du sicher, daß Du Google bemüht hast?...
Was für Tutorials etc. hast Du denn schon ausprobiert? ...

Das hier (link) ist bei mir der 3. Treffer von oben...

aber ich habe wirklich einige Lösungen probiert - entweder wusste ich den richtigen Chipsatz nicht oder konnte Pakete nicht finden...

Jo, der Linux-Club ist zur Zeit down.

Einfach ein wenig warten und in der Zwischenzeit mal genauere Angaben zur Hardware posten, z.B. die vollständige Ausgabe von lspci -vv für das Ding.

Hat Deine Distribution das Tool hwinfo schon installiert?

Falls nicht, nachinstallieren und mal mit den Schaltern --netcard, --wlan, --pcmcia und/oder --pcmcia-ctrl aufrufen.

Und die versuchten Tutorial könnte man auch mal verlinken am besten mit einer kurzen Bemerkung, wo es wie geklemmt hat.

hab' die Anleitunetsg auf Linux-CLub versucht.

Wie dort angegeben suchte ich die modules.conf... gibts bei meinem Debian nicht.

Ausserdem hab ich kein Verzeichnis /etc/sysconfig/network....
