und der monitor ist ein mittel alter 17" crt monitor

So an, dass auch hoehere Aufloesungen drin stehen:

Allerdings glaube ich irgendwie auch nicht, dass die eingestellten Sync-Raten korrekt sind. Schau mal im Handbuch des Monitors nach und trage dann die korrekten Sync-Raten ein. Alternativ kommentierst du die Sync-Raten aus und schaust, ob das System die automatisch erkennen kann, wenn X startet.

Ausserdem duerfte der i810-Treiber der bessere sein. Vesa muss nur dann benutzt werden, wenn kein anderer Treiber funktioniert.

Lies dir das mal durch, aber in Grunde kann es kein Treiberproblem sein, da der Treiber auf "vesa" steht, und sollten alle Karten zurecht kommen.

ja weist du ich hab den monitor karl heiz genannt

aba spass bei seite seit dem ich den treiber auf i810 gestehllt hab startet eh zum glück endlich mit einer auflösung wo man keinen krebs bekommt^^
