Driver für Creative SB Live! 24-Bit

Habe etwas gegoogelt.

Dein Problem ist bekannt und wird hier beschrieben.

Kein Sound von den rückwärtigen Lautsprechern bei SB live 24 extern!
Und beim alsamixer -c 1 ist nur PCM sichtbar!

/etc/asound.conf
ist anscheinend speziell Gentoo Distributions spezifisch.
Die Datei kann bei "Ubuntu" auch anders heissen.

Ja, der zweite link ist die Info für den Kernel patch.

Die kleine programm, das anscheinend den patch einspielt heist "git"

Habe sowas aber auch noch nicht gemacht.

Eventuell weiss ain anderer mehr darüber.

Werde mal es mal bei mir versuchen.
Falls ich was rausfinde, mehr später.
Denke aber, es wird einige im Forum geben, die sowas schon mal gemacht haben.

Auf jeden Fall musst Du nach dem Einspielen des Patches (Ändern der releventen Kernel sourcen) den Kernel neu übersetzen.
Hast Du das schon mal gemacht?

Da warst Du schneller, als ich antworten konnte.
Also ist bei Deiner Kernelversion der Patch schon drin!
Daher reicht die Änderung in der ".asoundrc"

Na dann ist ja alles paletti.

und den inhalt reingemacht den ich oben geschrieben habe....
mehr nicht...
dann gespeichert und fertig...
nicht mal neustart war notwendig....

erstmal danke für deinen Post. Es ist tatsächlich wahr. Es funktioniert bei mir auch. Alle Lautsprecher gehen wieder und das tolle - Genau die richtige tonhöhe

hab nämlich vor mir auch 'ne soundblaster extern zu kaufen.
-> funkt bei euch der digitale audio-out? die hat doch 'nen SPDIF-out...

ich brauch 'ne externe usb-karte, wo der digitale-audio-out unter ubuntu funkt...

hab mal wieder ein problemchen...

hab die root partition wieder neu draufgespielt....
dann wieder die asound.conf in /etc erstellt...

und der sound tut gar nicht...

dann bei audio einstellungen geschaut... da gibts nur den ESSolo-mixer... aber nicht die USB karte...

bei "asoundconf list"

kommt Solo1 und External

also er erkennt die externe karte...

aber er gibt mir keinen mixer dafür...

hat jemand ne idee?

Hatte genau dasselbe mit ner Onboard(übrigens scheiß Klang) Realtek Soundkarte, als ich dann aber die Vanilla Sourcen von 2.6.24 kompiliert hatte gingen alle vier Lautsprecher.

hab mit wine sound hinbekommen wollen... hab da den treiben eingestellt mit winecfg... und dann ging gar kein sound mehr... nicht in wine... und nicht sonst...

so wie es aussieht hat er meine usb-karte einfach rausgeschmissen... was soll das denn??

kommt keine ausgabe und der terminal hängt.. bzw. wartet ewig bis ich dann "strg c" drücke.

komisch... jetzt hab ich beim wine die soundkonfigurationen wieder weg gemacht... dann neugestartet... und der sound ging wieder.

hab jetzt wieder die konfigurationen reingemacht samt "treiber emulation" und der sound geht weiter... nur nicht in wine...

komische sache... also er erkennt auch wieder meine externe usb karte...

kennt jemand das problem mit dem wine sound?
